The course aims to develop your understanding of what it means to accompany another’s spiritual journeying whether informally (as a spiritual or soul friend) or formally as a spiritual accompanier. There will be a strong focus on exploring and reflecting on your own unique spirituality and spiritual journey and on resourcing you in deepening your awareness and understanding of the many paths to the Sacred. The course will draw on aspects of person-centred philosophy and theory as they relate to spiritual companionship and accompaniment, on key insights from other therapeutic and spiritual direction approaches and on the wisdom of the world’s major religious and spiritual traditions.
N.B. There is no formal written work or assessment
