This is an Introduction to counselling young people and children; developed in line with the BACP Stage 1 training curriculum for Counselling Children and Young People. It is delivered in four workshops over two weekends (Saturday and Sunday) to be held in January and February 2021.

It aims to offer an experiential opportunity to practice and develop skills in working with children and young people within a safe environment. Personal development is an important aspect of this course preparing you to work with children and young people which can be personally challenging work.

It is suitable for either qualified counsellors or student counsellors who are in at least the 2nd year of training who have an interest in working professionally with children and young people.

Course fee £440 per year (with the option to pay by instalments)
