Trustees

Voluntary position.

You will need to commit to attendance at two hour meetings four times a year, plus reading papers in advance.

Network Counselling and Training is a well-established voluntary counselling and training charity which has been in existence for over thirty years. It delivers a high quality professional counselling service at affordable cost to clients in Bristol and surrounding areas. It also delivers a unique higher education counselling training programme which is specifically designed to equip counsellors to work with the spiritual dimension of human experience.

The organisation has an inclusive Christian ethos. It is moving into an exciting new phase of development, looking to grow its services from a new permanent home at Elm Park, Filton.

Consequently, the organisation is seeking to expand its Board of Trustees through recruiting a number of people who would be interested in supporting its work and contributing to its further development.

No special knowledge or expertise is necessary, and Network is eager to attract applicants from diverse backgrounds and with diverse life experiences. The organisation is, however, particularly interested in attracting Trustees who have experience in charity, business or commercial fields; in law, accountancy, education or the caring professions; in pastoral care; and in working with marginalized or disadvantaged groups.
