The Board of Trustees of Network Counselling and Training is seeking to appoint new Trustees to give direction and oversight to the charity in line with its Christian ethos. There are currently four Trustees.
This 34 year old organisation provides counselling to Christians and non-Christians regardless of a client’s ability to pay and excellent professional training, in response to God’s compassion for “the broken-hearted”. Network has grown in size and scope over the years. Last year it moved into its own purpose built building, and it is now embarking on a four year plan to develop a new youth counselling service, to grow existing services, and to improve its internal processes and procedures. It is an invigorating time to be involved with Network!
About the role
We are looking for prayerful Christians committed to Network’s vision of providing affordable counselling and high quality training in counselling. If you have skills and experience derived from working in business, from working professionally or in ministry, and if you are willing to bring your skills and experience to Network, please contact the General Manager – firstname.lastname@example.org. You will be put in contact with Eileen Cahill, Chair of Trustees to discuss the role further.
The role involves four evening meetings per year, and some additional meetings, at Network’s premises in Elm Park, Filton in North Bristol. The position is unpaid with no expenses paid.
