Advanced certificate in counselling skills (level 4)

For students wishing to train as counsellors and progress to Diploma (level 5) training.  Also ideal for developing listening and counselling skills for use in other roles and settings such as pastoral care, management, nursing or teaching.

Course fees	£3,850 for 2025 (with the option to pay by instalments) plus student membership of the National Counselling Society (NCS) (optional)
Next intake	September 2025
Applications	Applications can be submitted via the downloadable form (below) or directly via an online form (link below). Submission date for applications (round 1) is Monday 17 February (9am). Submission dates for applications (round 2) is Monday 28 April (9am). (There will be a second round of applications only if places are still remaining after the first round.)
Interviews	A group interview for round 1 will be held on Monday 3 March. Individual interviews will be Monday 10 March and Monday 17 March.

Don’t miss out! We suggest you apply as early as possible and attend the first round of interviews. Places will be offered and secured at this stage. Any further places available will then be allocated at the second round of interviews.
