Exploring Professional Practice Groups
Our series of evening professional practice groups give us the opportunity to have some social time together and discuss specific topics we hope will be of interest to you. We also welcome any suggestions for topics you would like to see on our programme in future.
These groups run bi-monthly on a Monday between 6.30 and 9.00pm, and we are pleased to be able to offer these to Network counsellors, students and supervisors for free. And others for a small fee of £10. A certificate for 2 hours CPD will be available for each session attended.
No EPP sessions are currently scheduled.
Training packages for organisations
If you or you and your team are involved in helping relationships – for example, nursing, teaching, support work, youth work or pastoral care – and you would like to develop your listening and communication skills, we can help.
Our team of skilled and experienced trainers can provide you and your colleagues with a package of introductory counselling training or continuing professional development (CPD) in listening and counselling skills.
We have worked with a variety of organisations, for example community health multi-disciplinary teams, youth and community support teams, and churches.
You can choose an ‘off the shelf’ workshop (or series of workshops). Alternatively, we can work closely with you to design a workshop to meet the specific needs of your organisation and staff.
