Head of Counselling

Could you lead our Counselling team as Network’s new Head of Counselling?

18.75 hours per week@ £13,905 (£27,810 p.a. pro rata); workplace pension.

Network is looking for an experienced counsellor with supervision experience, energy, enthusiasm and passion. You will support our team of counsellors, supervisors and student counsellors in training. You will also have some management responsibility for staff and work collaboratively with other members of the Management Team in the day to day running and the strategic development of the organisation.

Network was established over 30 years ago and has a reputation for the quality and professionalism of the counselling and training it provides; and for its warm environment and sense of community. Network has a Christian, person-centred ethos which is inclusive and welcoming to people of all faiths and none.

Candidates should be qualified to Diploma level (NQF level 5 or above) with at least 500 post qualifying hours experience as a counsellor, and with supervision experience. Previous management experience, particularly in a voluntary setting, would also be an advantage. Consistent with its charitable objectives, it is an occupational requirement that the holder of this position be a Christian.
