On the morning of September 16th some folk are doing a sponsored walk to raise funds for Network Counselling and Training. The routes follow Network’s journey from its first premises over the shops off College Green to the new premises that are currently having an extension built at Elm Park in Filton.

There are 2 routes you could do and raise some funds … the 4.5 miles route goes straight from College Green to Elm Park mainly along Gloucester Road but through some parks on the way.

The longer route goes past all the premises that Network has been based in over the last 31 years and is 9 miles long.

You can choose whichever one you want to raise money for Network or if you are not able to then please do sponsor the people who are doing the walk at The Network Journey Fundraising Page.

If you would like to walk for Network and need a sponsor form or more information then please let us know at reception@network.org.uk or phone 0117 950 7271

There is lots happening at Network … the work on the new premises over at Elm Park, Filton will start on 17th July … for our latest update on this, fundraising and lots more … July 2017 Update

From 10th April to 9th October if you are a Co-op member and choose Network as your local cause then every time you buy Co-op own brand goods they donate 1% to Network. Become a member, log-on at coop.co.uk/membership and choose Network … if you cannot see us then select 15 mile radius and Health as the category. Remember if you chose us last time you will need to confirm this again. Last time we raised over £900 together and then the Co-op added some more. Let’s try and raise more than £2,000 this time!

Moira Ruff and her sister Catherine Whiteman are going to walk from St Luke’s Church in Bath where we have a satellite counselling team to St Andrews Methodist Church in Filton – our planned new premises. It is 18 miles and they will complete it on 30th April. To sponsor them follow the link below. If you would like to join them in the sponsored walk then please let us know.

SO FAR NEARLY £900 has been raised from the 1% of purchase costs  of Co-op groceries by Co-op member. Still time to support us as it has been extended to April. If you are/become a Co-op member and live within 15 miles of  Network then you can choose to support Network through your shopping. We are also under the Health category so if at first you do not see us select that category to narrow the search. You have to be a member and be local to where we are and 1% will be given to Network each time you shop for Co-op groceries.  http://www.coop.co.uk/membership/local-community-fund/

Our next introductory course starts on Monday 9th January 2017.
